Our History:

The Old School was built in 1864 and closed in 2000. At its peak in the 1880's it had 76 children in two classrooms but by the end there were only 6.

A community association was formed in 2000 and in 2004 the building was bought from the council and Yr Hen Ysgol was refurbished with a Big Lottery Grant in 2008-9.

Previously called Dyffryn Ceidrich (valley of Ceidrich), the village became known by the name of it's chapel, Bethlehem, probably during the 19th century.
